Helen S. (Semko) Holko

Helen S. Holko died peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2020, a daughter of the late Fred and Ann Semko originally from Rankin, Pa.  She is the wife of the late Stephen A. Holko, Sr. and is survived by daughters Diane (Tom) Stanesic and Mary Ellen (Donny) Minchoff and sons Stephen A. (Judith) Holko, Jr., David (Karen) Holko and John (Kim) Holko.  In addition, she is survived by her granddaughters Jennifer, Jackie, Becky, Jessica, Tara, Janeace, Paula, Amy and Stephanie and grandsons Todd and John, Jr.  Helen was also blessed with 19 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by her siblings. Helen loved working with the Duquesne Jr. Tamburitzans wardrobe ladies making their beautiful costumes, an excellent cook for many years at the Duquesne Croatian Club, catering many weddings, parties and reunions.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the workers at Kane Regional Center and McKeesport Hospital 3 Mansfield for the care given to their mother.  Friends received Teichart-Gracan Funeral Home, Duquesne, Fri. from 10:00 am to Noon, at which time a funeral mass will be held at Holy Name Church.  Interment following St. Hedwig Cemetery. The family requests no flowers.
